Julia a.k.a. No 1 Know this, and repeat after us: “Now, this gem of a beauty is truly exotic — with Russian, Latvian, German and Ukrainian blood.”
What NOT to say: “She looks Malay what.”
Straight from the model’s mouth... “As a child I could never decide what I wanted to be when I grow up. My parents wanted me to choose a career that had more obvious prospects than modeling or acting. They were very surprised when they saw me in my first magazine. But they supported me in my decision and I have to say: my family are my biggest fans!”
Andrea Savage a.k.a. No 2 Know this, and repeat after us: “She’s one of two Andreas amongst the 26 models. There’s also Andrea Fonseka. Don’t confuse them!”
What NOT to say: “That’s Alanis Morissette!”
Straight from the model’s mouth… “I have sponsored a baby elephant in Kenya with the Daphne Sheldrick Foundation (and) worked closely with AMREF in Kenya.”
Natalie a.k.a. No 3 Know this, and repeat after us: “Talk about starting young. This model was just eight years old when she landed her first television commercial job — with Pizza Hut.”
What NOT to say: “Hey, do you think I can get pizza discounts through her?”
Straight from the model’s mouth… “Two friends and I went to Jakarta (then, Natalie was in college) and helped with a social service group there that gives out food and supplies to the kampong villages. We also spoke with the children there and it was so touching because many of them wanted to grow up to be doctors so they could help look after the people in their villages.”
Maggie a.k.a. No 4 Know this, and repeat after us: “Bet you didn’t know she starred in a Carlsberg telly commercial with Michelle Chia before!”
What NOT to say: “OMG, Fiona Xie over there!!!” Even though she’s got the same arresting peepers.
Straight from the model’s mouth… “I’m very firm of what I’m doing. Once I decide to do something, I will do it. No waiting. I hate people who are hypocrities.”
Nataliya a.k.a. No 5 Know this, and repeat after us: “She looks fearless, doesn’t she? But it wasn’t very long ago that she had a lifelong phobia of water until she took up swimming recently.”
What NOT to say: “How come she doesn’t move? Oh sorry, that’s a picture.”
Straight from the model’s mouth… “I’m very firm of what I’m doing. Once I decide to do something, I will do it. No waiting. I hate people who are hypocrities.”
Vanessa a.k.a. No 6 Know this, and repeat after us: “I’ve seen her from Singapore Big Bike Festival 2006! There I was feeling like such a bad boy on my Harley, rooting for her to win the Biker Babe competition. And she did!”
What NOT to say: “I’m thinking of trading my Harley for a Vespa.”
Straight from the model’s mouth… “I like to chill out with my friends. I think it’s not what activities you get yourself in, it’s who you do it with. The company I am in matters a lot to me.”

Straight from the model’s mouth… “I’ve got ‘split personality’. The clothes I wear depend largely on my mood for the day.”
Ana a.k.a. No 8 Know this, and repeat after us: “Stop trying to guess where she’s from already. This classical beauty — doesn’t she look like a wiser version of Scarlett Johanson? — has got Eastern European roots, being born in Moldova.”
What NOT to say: “How come she’s wearing the same dress as everyone else?” It’s a show, my friend.
Straight from the model’s mouth… “Just as everyone else in Singapore, I flip though magazines at Borders, wahahahahah!”
Jamie a.k.a. No 9 Know this, and repeat after us: “The youngest one here. She’s only 17.”
